Painting from observations + memory, intentional sculpting of physical space + familiar forms, Houston responds to the surrounding landscape here in Newfoundland. Houston designed the purpose built, contemporary buildings where she lives + works winning the 2023 Southcott Award for ‘Design in Context’.
