Conception Bay Regional Museum
Located in the former Customs House (1870), the Museum’s exhibits focus on the history of piracy, early aviation, and mercantilism in Harbour Grace. The grounds feature a park for visitors and an exceptional view of the bay and Harbour Grace Islands. Nearby, visitors can view two HSMBC monuments dedicated to Rev. Laurence Coughlan, the ideological founder of Methodism in Newfoundland, and transatlantic aviation history. The Museum offers walking tours and other events during the summer season.
